Arab and Turk instruments soundfonts

Hi.
For some years I have been collecting soundfonts online. I found some nice arab and turk instruments on sf2 format that have been distributed online freely and without any copyright notice. I joined the best of them in one single soundfont file and also made some small adjustments to make some of them sound better.

Loaded this with carla and some calf reverb and had lots of fun! Really inspiring sounds, some of these really cut through the mix.

If you need a better place host the file may I suggest http://musical-artifacts.com/ ? That's the type of thing I made it for.

You'll be able to specify your authorship and a license for the files and it'll show a preview of the instruments contained in your sf2 file.

Nice piece!
Right from the start I recognized the syrian bendir and through the piece I also recognized one of the kanuns. But what about the other synths? Do you created them from the soundfont presetes or from scratch?

Sorry, I use mac and it reads the folder you send as a sound file...
how can i avoid this?

i download the file which contains all those amazing sounds, but the mac reads it as an sf2 sound file and try to play it, and won't me access the content!
What to do?

What are you trying to do with these sounds? If you're trying to arrange music with these instruments, then you need a plugin for your DAW that is capable of using sf2 format. With that said, this forum is LinuxMusicians, so I'm not sure how much help we'll be in getting this to work on Mac.
