Synthv1 theme issues in Ardour

Hi, i'm wondering if anyone knows the reason for this. When i open up synthv1, samplv1 or drumkv1 in ardour, the first time i open them, they look as they should. The second time i open them up, the theme for the tabs, etc, falls back to a generic theme. I have attached an image of what it looks like after the second time you open it. This is happening with both self builds of ardour and the ardour bundle from ardour.org.
