KXStudio external repositories have disappeared?

Post by LeadOut »

I've been trying to install WineASIO and various other bits and pieces from the KXStudio external repositories. The instructions on the website (and in at least one thread in which FalkTX replied on another forum about 8 months ago) say to add the following:

deb http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/repo/ VERSION free non-free

Except, it seems that it generates a 404 error, which you can confirm by trying, for example, http://kxstudio.sourceforge.net/repo/precise in your web browser.

I can see that the .deb files are stored on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/kxstudi ... DEBs/repo/

But it would be much nicer to add a proper repository and get updates rather than having to download each .deb by hand via Sourceforge and install it manually. Is this no longer possible?

I'm running Ubuntu Studio 12.04, with some of the Launchpad KXStudio repos enabled, for reference.

Also, sorry if this is not the best subforum, but I'm not sure what the official support mechanism for KXStudio is, and I know FalkTX is pretty active here.
