Spring Reverb

Post by aeb105 »

Does anybody have a direct link to a decent Spring Reverb? I have searched thru some of the IR ones to no avail.

Thanks. I actually found those and wasn't able to find a balance between that deep echo....even tuning down the wet. I beleive those were from 2004. Somebody has to have something new you'd think. I wonder if I should try and buy some good ones?

Which convolver are you using? You should be able to shorten the IR to get a much shorter reverb. IR can adjust the sample envelope quite a bit to get the sound you want. If its too dark try a distortion plugin before or after. Spring reverbs aren't exactly meticulous reproductions of actual reverberation anyway...

http://www.mediafire.com/listen/wymn293 ... Reverb.wav This I thought was listed as arena reverb on my Zoom pedal. But everyone has been telling me its Spring. Using IR Audio 6: IR (by Tom Szilagyi)

how are you using the reverb, is it directly on the instrument or a seperate bus. i find reverbs much easier to tweak when used on its own bus and sending whatever needs to have reverb, keep the reverb channel 100% wet with no dry, That way you have much more control of the wet/dry balance. Means that you can EQ both the dry signal and the wet signal seperatly.
