Simple sampler as DSSI module?
Hi all,
I know and have Fluidsynth and LinuxSampler. But I need a simple DSSI sampler module that can load wav-files. I want to use it multiple times in my sequencer Rosegarden: each drum = one instrument. I have lots of drum sounds as wav files and don't want to assemble them to soundfonts first.
There seems to have been a sampler named "Euphoria" but I can't find it as a DSSI module.
Any hints?

Euphoria is a resource eater.
Try samplv1 from http://www.rncbc.org/

Oh, what a good idea!
I'm using the Salamander drumkit and I like the cymbals but hate the kick drum. I plugged a kick into samplv1 and it works great. It might be tough programming hi-hats and toms with samplv1 but kicks, snares, and crash cymbals would be easy enough.

It's a LV2 module, not a DSSI module. I can't load it into Rosegarden-NilsGey wrote:Euphoria is a resource eater.

Try dssi-example-plugins. It contains a super simple sampler called trivial sampler.

You're welcome. Hadn't tried in a while. It has a nice Qt gui now.
