REV1

Post by ahellquist »

I wonder if I am the only one missing REV1 a lot as Carla Internal and/or lv2 plugin?

That was my goto reverb and used a lot in everything I did... Using the GxZita_rev1-Stereo works but does not bring back the warm feeling from the past.. The stand alone REV1 is still usable but it is not a plugin so it is a bit messy to patch it in every now and then. The work flow is similar to hooking up old hardware synths to the computer,

What are you guys using instead that sounds as great as Fons Zita Rev1?
What is the reasoning behind abandon this great reverb in kxstudio ?

I use IR or LSP to load IR reverb files. Maybe reach out ot Robin Gareus of x42-plugins to add to his awesome suite. He's been making lv2s out of Fons' plugins.

Have you tried to load it as "Jack Application" and export as LV2?
