Midi to CV/Gate

I've been using Carla with full instruments (Zyn, SetBFree, etc) for a number of years now. Was looking into playing a bit more with some of the modular type plugins, but can't locate a means of converting midi data from my USB connected keyboards into a CV/gate pair for controlling oscillators. I can use Carla to control CC parameters from the controller, just not key/note data.

Am I missing something obvious here? Some really old Alsa Modular docs I found make reference to a MCV module for kbd to cv, but I don't see an equivalent module in the Carla plugins I've pulled in so far. Lots of other AMS modules..

Any suggestions? Thanks...

E.g. route note events through Note2CC plugin [1] and then use CC for automation in host.

I'd be shocked if its not an lv2 plugin you can use in carla too.

It is indeed an internal plugin and not available as a separate LV2 plugin.

Thanks gang... I'll play around with Ingen some more and work that into the Carla rack...
