Hi FalkTX
I was wondering if the common unmet dependency issues that happen with kxstudio repos is something that could be somehow fixed?
See the example with installing pulseaudio:
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=16861&p=81446&hili ... dio#p81446
And another example on AskUbuntu:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/941230/ ... 234#941234
I also had a similar issue when installing some version of Wine.
The issue has to do with the kxstudio suffix at the end of the package name. If we take the libpulse0 example: are the stock repo version 1:4.0-0ubuntu11.1 and the kxstudio version 1:4.0-0ubuntu11.1+kxstudio1 different in any way? If that's the case, could we do away with the suffix? Or is it necessary for something?
I am sorry if this is a silly question. I am not too knowledgeable on repo maintenance and package versioning.

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't aware of that misconfiguration. I just did what you recommended, but it didn't look like it upgraded anything, although I might have done a dist-upgrade between running into the issue and now. I don't have a problematic package to test that on anymore.
I'll let you know if it ever happens again with another package.
