Still gcc 5?
So Linux 4.9 came to Debian Testing and it is now built with gcc 6 so I uninstalled gcc 5 from my system. Will there be any adverse effects for KXStudio programs or is gcc5 repo just concerned with libstdc++ ABI break?

Well then I'd call it something other that gcc 5 because it mostly implies it's about C code. Oh well.

Re: Still gcc 5?
Since Debian stable now ships with gcc 6.3.0, is there a need to have gcc 4 version of KXStudio? Or are you still supporting very old distros?

Re: Still gcc 5?
Well, gcc 7 is out already, and be the default on arch, compatibility in code get lost more and more.falkTX wrote:14.04 was released 3 years ago, that's not old in my view.
It's still what I use for my main desktop, and works just fine.
I guess you cant really support blending age and 14.04 for long term, as least from the view of a C++ developer.
On the road again.
