Jack Bridges disabled in Cadence

Hi,

I just installed Cadence on Linuix MINT 18 and I find that the section on "JACK Bridges" is completely disabled on the main menu I would like to use a pulse audio bridge. I've also installed pulseaudio. Is there anything else I need to install to enable this functionality?

Mint by default does not install 'recommends' by default.
Go in synaptic, search for carla, right click and look for the bridges.

I had same problem.
All I have done is that I installed pulseaudio-module-jack package. And everything works now.

I installed the pulseaudio-module-jack but I still get the same results. I installed the one from the mint 18 mate repository. I couldn't find one in th kxstudio repository.

I first installed the binary version of Cadence. Since then I installed Cadence from the repository but still the same result. The JACK BRIDGES section of Cadence is greyed out.

I uninstalled the binary version of Cadence and then reinstalled the repository version. Now JACK BRIDGES section is active. Thanks for the help!
