Who needs a drummer?

Anyone have any tracks that could use a real drummer? I have a basic setup for tracking drums. It's not the best room/mics/preamps etc. but it's decent and usable. I was thinking this could be a good learning experience on how to do this effectively (remote recording). You could send me a demo track and I could send back the raw drum tracks as an Ardour session or something like that. Let me know.

Ha-ha, I just wanted to post similar message (I play bass and guitar). Maybe we should create sticky topic "Will record for food^Wfree/musician needed" ? :)

Which style of music do you feel comfortable playing?

I can play jazz, rock, R&B ,Latin rhythms and other stuff. I'm not the best at hard rock or metal since I can't play double bass drums.

I'm digging out an old topic, but this is quite an interesting idea. I don't know if the OP is still up to it. Here's another one; we can create something like virtual bands, or virtual jams, where the tracks would be laid one by one, that is, someone would come with, say, a simple harmony idea, then some one would add a guitar or keyboard track to it, bass, vocal, trumpet, turntable scratching, some effects or whatever, according to the willing participants abilities and affinities. It could be fun, I think.
