Repositories of Linux Mint releases
Are the repositories of all releases of Linux Mint the same? That is: do you also get a different repository when you upgrade to a newer Linux Mint release?

Re: Repositories of Linux Mint releases
I don't know 100% about Mint but my expectation is that all repos are managed independently year by year.

Sure, you need a different repository to upgrade to a newer release. Only when you use a rolling release like ARCH or debian/sid, you stay with the same repository's.LinMusGuy wrote:do you also get a different repository when you upgrade to a newer Linux Mint release?
See here for Mint repository's:

Thanks! So if I understand correctly you will generally have access to newer versions of programs like LMMS, Audacity, Faust, Nyquist, etc. in your repositories after upgrading Linux Mint to a newer release?
