I posted this in the Hardware forum where it doesn't belong to (sorry).
As Room Equation Wizard does not use Jack, is there any way to use REW with a software Equalizer plugin to test the settings, i.e. if the signal becomes more linear with EQ on? I have KXStudio 14.04 running.
Now I found out that I can get output signal from REW via the alsa2jack bridge and choosing as output device in REW the loopback (default) device. So, the sweep generated by REW is then going through my parametric EQ which is between alsa2jack and Hardware Playback. I guess the same should work for the input channel too but I don't get any signal into REW.
