What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

The systemD-free distro has now reached version 1.0 This is based on 'jessie'
Has anyone had a look at this?
It'd be interesting to see how it behaves for audio work.

Actually, I know that Devuan-based Miyolinux is usable for musical production. Here is not a real song but simply a test, with Miyolinux running on my EeePC 701(!)

Didn't try that on the EeePC 701, for obvious reasons. But here seems to be someone using Devuan with KX repo's added viewtopic.php?t=7192&start=30

tried it a couple of months ago and did not like it.
actually, many modern packages do not work correctly with old sysvinit.
and no, it does not play well with KXstudio repos. everything is installable, but many things don't work at all or work not as expected.

p.s. if one wants something systemd-free, i'd recommend manjaro, but it's completely different, and no repos like KXStudio for it (despite the fact that nearly all packages that available in KXstudio can be built from AUR in manjaro).
