Denemo jack-qsynth playback

Post by Pablo »

Hi!

I'm having a look at Denemo 0.8.0. In the playback properties, the default external midi player is timidity and audio player is "play". I don't know what I have to write here for qsynth and jack.

Does anybody know?

Cheers

Yes, I know the answer very well.

Currently there is no way to connect Jack to any live-synth/sampler because Denemo has no Livemidioutput (there is jackmidi-input). Currently any midi is done via pre-rendering and playback.

This is the one major "contra" for Denemo and we are searching for anyone who can help by developing Denemo as sequencer.
