Kguitar sound problem

Postby MuLinuxGuy » Thu Dec 17, 2009 9:30 pm

I like Kguitar as a potential Linux replacement for Guitar Pro, but I can't get Kguitar to produce any sound.

I installed TuxGuitar also and can get sound out of it (although just from my soundcard and not soundfonts), but I like the look and feel of Kguitar better if I can get the sound to work.

Can anybody help?

I take it no one uses Kguitar? lol

Which GuitarPro-Alt app do most here use, TuxGuitar?

Has anyone tried Dguitar? I downloaded the file, but couldn't figure out how to install it.

I think tuxguitar is your best bet.

If you only use it for score typesetting I suggest you Lilypond. It has great tablature functionally.
