relatime vs noatime

Post by studio32 »

Hi,

Raboof advices to use noatime in fstab, but Ubuntu chooses relatime as default. Is there any difference? What does Ubuntu Studio has as default?

That's what I understand from it. It might not make a big difference (someone care to test?) and apart from servers no-one seems to care about atime anyway.
