I installed kde4.1 today as backport on Lenny. Looks nice and they said it is lighter, so do you think it's an improvement to use kde4 instead of kde3 for linux audio?

October 9th Mandriva 2009 will be released. I'll let you know how it goes for me.

Oh, wait, KDE4 is the new default DM.

I think they did a good job with kde4! I'm positive about it.

My only concern now it that the search engine in the new kde menu only can use google on the internet...

That's not alright. I hope they change that in the next update.
