Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
Latest svn has LADI level 1 support now.
What is the idea behind the "Director"?
What is the "Path to Rubberband-CLI" on a Debian based system? How to use the command line and scripts?
A feature request would be add Jack Midi support.
But Hydrogen is working very fine so far, thanks! No Jack crashes anymore till now

Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
That's a tool you can use when you're on stage.. Just set hydrogen in the front of you and it counts the beats ( and pattern numbers) for you. That's helpful if you're playing along to a drumtrack or something..studio32 wrote: What is the idea behind the "Director"?
This option defines the path to the rubberband executable. You don't need it if you don't want to use it in the sampleeditor, otherwise you could use dpkg to look where the executable of the package "rubberband-cli" is located on your system. It's just an extra..studio32 wrote:What is the "Path to Rubberband-CLI" on a Debian based system? How to use the command line and scripts?
Here's a tutorial which explains the use of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8h0ecGRHHSo
Btw, i've just started to build an undo-system for hydrogen, the first commits are done already

Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
You're welcome Sebastian!
And more very good news! Just got a mail from Analogue Drums (they provide a free pro grade kit on their site, the Big Mono kit) that they authorise me to publish a h2drumkit file of the Big Mono kit! I'll post a link as soon as I've added the credits in the h2drumkit file, finetuned it a bit more and uploaded the 136 Mb file to our testserver at my work, the one that also hosts my blog. Hopefully the server can keep up with the expected huge demand
The Big Mono kit is quite nice, it's a small kit (which I personally prefer) but it sounds sweet. So thanks Analogue Drums, but also thanks to this guy at the homerecording.be forum for providing the xml file!

Hi!!
Wow, that are cool news. Are you sure that you're allowed to host the samples along with the drumkit.xml?
I'm just wondering Be sure to put a license file in the drumkit directory!

Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
Hello Sebastian, 100% sure, I have the personal authorisation of the owner of Analogue Drums. In his reply to a mail I sent to Analogue Drums he says he has used Ubuntu and that he's a Linux fan. I can forward you the mail if you want too. I'll add the EULA to the h2drumkit file and upload it again. This is the URL:
http://linux.autostatic.com/hydrogen/BigMono.h2drumkit
Edit: added bigmono-eula.html file to the h2drumkit library, uploading it now.

Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
Auto thanks so much!
Just downloaded and installed, sounds fantastic.
One day I'll get around to creating some sounds. I've no idea how to go about it but I used to play a huge kit. (14 piece) and used the toms as accents in various songs which were almost always contemporary rock based.
It's the toms I'm missing really in all honesty. Awesome kit thanking you kindly for going to the trouble.
Best.
Chippy.

Re: Hydrogen 0.9.5-beta1 released
Hi!
If you want LADI level1 support you need the latest version from our svn.
Look here for instructions: http://trac.assembla.com/hydrogen/wiki/ ... qt4compile
Thanks,
Sebastian

Tried creating a deb, it compiled for a long time and then said this, presumably at the final stages:
dpkg-shlibdeps: failure: no dependency information found for /usr/local/lib/libjack.so.0 (used by debian/hydrogen/usr/bin/hydrogen).
dh_shlibdeps: command returned error code 512
make: *** [binary-arch] Error 1
