On debian buster/kxstudio the installation worked fine. No need to build it myself.
So I guess I should finally upgrade my main desktop machine from stretch to buster.

Thank you for providing such amazing plugin! I think it's much better than using a gate. Retains the tone, only eliminates the hum. Thanks a lot again. Please keep bringing it to the masses
