[Ann] ANNOUNCING BITWIG STUDIO 2

Post by gimmeapill »

[Disclaimer: This is not and advertisement as I have no stake in Bitwig (not even as user) - if irrelevant, please move to the Market Place]

Bitwig 2 announcement just came out, looks like they have a lot of interesting features:

...and I'm still not gonna buy it with such prices & licensing model:

Cheers,

Good, but nothing specifically new for Linux. They support now vst3, they could have include lv2 and a sfz player with disk streaming.

The new pricing model seems not very friendly to hobbyist users :-/ Hard to understand, especially as they are quite new in the market and there a still quite some features missing..

That pricing model smells like a desperate gamble.
Eventhough I'm not onboard that ship, I do hope they'll find something sustainable in the long run...
