OSM podcast

Post by danboid »

What happened to it? It used to have a new show every month or two but its been about 8 months now without a new show.

I expect some (all?) of its hosts read this forum so it'd be nice if they can give us an update. I suspect real life has got in the way yet again - pesky existance strikes once more!

Oh right - as you guessed F I thought this forum was related to that podcast - obviously not.

I see this forum has ~3k members and is growing every day which I thinks pretty good going for our little Linux niche!

Did OSM ever have a dedicated forum? This seems to be the main English speaking forum for Linux music. I thought the show had been discussed here before. I miss it. I've even contemplated doing a show myself, but not found the time yet and might quickly run out of things to talk about. Maybe people could organise a 'round table' discussion that could be put out as a podcast. I'd listen.

I know OSM had an IRC channel (#linuxmusicians?). Is it still active? I haven't been on IRC for a while. Am I missing out?
