Thanks, AutoStatic!AutoStatic wrote:Updated qmidiarp to the latest version (0.5.1) in the KXStudio Main repository.
It's an arpeggiator with a strange way of forming arpeggios.. but definitely worth having around. I hope to get better at using it in the coming days/weeks..

Re: Good linux arpeggiator?
Is seq24 included in KXStudio? I'm enjoying this (not very new) video by neuman...AutoStatic wrote:Updated qmidiarp to the latest version (0.5.1) in the KXStudio Main repository.

Sure hope so!
I think it could do the trick for arpeggiating quite nicely!

Awesome!AutoStatic wrote:Yes it is, including fix for JACK transport.
Strange, I don't see people talking about it much; but I'm really curious to give it a try, hopefully later tonight, just to keep the neighbors awake...
Thanks!

Re: Good linux arpeggiator?
But, I'm forseeing a potential problem:
It seems that each "sequence part" controls one instrument.
But let's say I want to use a different sound from the same synth, on different parts?? Do I have to add additional instances of the synth?

Re: Good linux arpeggiator?
No, you can have seq24 select another bank (if the softsynth supports it). There was a topic about this recently.
