Im just setting up linux show player and this can send midi triggers
Im wanting the midi triggers on each song to either trigger on and off delay or reverb so it sends a midi signal to a effects panel
i have a couple of options i can use carla loaded with a reverb and a delay and trigger each of the effects
or maybe use rakarack and assign again assign on and off to delay reverd wet / dry
or is there any other solution anybody can think of..

i just need linux show player to send a midi trigger to any program and toggle wet dry on either delay or reverb or a slap back delay ..

Ardour (and probably qtractor, but I don't use the latter much) can also map midi to plugin controls, but I'd guess they're probably overkill.

I'd go with Carla because you can assign any midi cc to any parameter. AFAIK.
