Cool video. Please make one with Airwave, this help a lot of users.
What I'm missing btw is the step where you tell the host where to look for the bridged plugins. (or I might have missed that)
And thanks for the cool videos! Keep it up!

Carla checks for the .vst folder in your home folder automatically.
Thanks!

Re: Video Tutorial: How to use Windows VST Plugins on Linux
Airwave is a method to run 64 bit Windows VST's on Linux (just like Carla). It must be compiled from source (see this Github link) or one might try a pre-compiled package from here. The packages do not come from a repository and your luck may vary in getting one of them to work. If the kind developer (from our beloved linuxmusicians forum) in a year or two loses interest in this project and you upgrade your distro it might not work any more. I think that Carla might be more "future proof".JHoermann wrote:Dont know Airwave, can you send a url?

Thanks!
P.S. There's also LinVST to get 64 bit Win VST's working (no compiling needed).

Seems like they haven't been updated in a while but still nice to have competition. Thanks for the links!Linuxmusician01 wrote:Airwave is a method to run 64 bit Windows VST's on Linux (just like Carla).
