Hi all, just starting out with ardour and having a little trouble with latency..
how do I setup hydrogen with ardour to get best setup?
Also Im trying to use my usb mixer as an input but it doesn't show up on jack, but it shows up fine in audacity, anyone know anything about this?

Re: Ardour with hydrogen
How do you work with Ardor/Hydrogen? Or what do you want to do with Ardour /Hydrogen?
I export my Hydrogen drum tracks to a midi file and load it as a midi track in Ardour. Then I use hydrogen only as a sound-generator.

Re: Ardour with hydrogen and Alesis 8USb
So far I have managed to sync ardour with hydrogen using the JACk/internal switch, works rather well but now I want to add bass using my Alesis 8USB mixer as an input but cant get ardour to find it.. any help?

ok just to let you know, problem solved, incase anyone cares to know..
I had to add a line to qjackctl in the interface option on setup, hw:CODEC
Then restarted it all and it worked..
