For editing soundfonts, use a program called Swami.

For some MIDI drum beats: http://home.roadrunner.com/~jgglatt/files/beats.htm

For anything MIDI, visit my web page at http://home.roadrunner.com/~jgglatt
Thanks, Jeff! I'll try the drums later today if I get a moment! ;)

I'm quite sure I have Swami installed, but I've never used it. One of those things I'll definitely have to get around to doing sooner or later, since I have a bunch of soundfonts that could be "doctored up" a bit..

And so the learning continues....

just tied it out....teribile lol

sorry, I was a little of producing
do you still need this?
Lol..

I made "Gimme a Hand", it's not intended to be a full-blown ethnic percussion sample set at all, simply a bunch of everyday hand percs to use with simple arrangements with acoustic instruments. it has no congas, timbales or anything like you are looking for.

Maybe not, but it's still useful! ;)
I appreciate your kit-- you never know when some new percussion might come in useful!

Of course, any suggestions regarding latin instruments is always welcome, too.. :)
