I am slowly getting myself back into music after a long time off, and wanted to ask for some input. I am venturing into Linux audio production for the first time as well, so this is quite new and exciting for me.
I have narrowed down my choices to an Audiofire 8 and Edirol FA-101, mainly because of linux support for them and price being just where I want it.
I have not owned either of these companies units before and wanted to know if anyone has experience with them and if anyone could say whether one would be more beneficial than the other for all-around use, so to speak.
I have read a ton of info so far, but genuinely wanted to find someone who has perhaps owned both and is able to pass along some input before I go and get one myself.
