Hi Guys, I just got a Bias Head and it comes with Bias Amp 2 Software. It Supports only Mac, Windows and iPhone and sadly i use android and Ubuntu.
I've tried using windows 8 & 10 on virtual host but i keep getting this error:

Failed to attach USB Device PositiveGrid G1 to the virtual machine.

Details:
Failed to create a proxy device for the USB Device (error: VERR_READ_ERROR)
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE

I have installed the VirtualBox extensions pack and guest additions too. I have tried using a thumbdrive on the same USB slot and it works fine. The error shows when i plug in the Bias Head via USB.

Anyone has any ideas? it would help alot. thanks guys \m/

I found https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=52838
I discovered that the motherboard has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports (by eventually reading the manual).
My device (Toshiba GigaBeat) would give the 'Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_READ_ERROR)' when plugged into a USB 3 port.
When I eventually plugged it into a USB 2 port - it worked.

I have a similar issue with a USB-Serial dongle. It doesn't like the USB 3 ports and it is happy on the USB 2 ports.
All my USB memory sticks are happy on both.
So maybe it will work on another USB port.

I've seen this post during my research on to solve the problem too. I tried both my 3.0 and 2.0 ports. It didn't work for all :(
