Reinstalled Debian in UEFI mode = Better performance, stability, compatability

I never had this stability. Thanks to a more dynamic EFI hardware is more compatible. I'm very pleased with the result.

actually, complete Debian reinstallation is not required to boot in UEFI mode.
even if you have to repartition disk for that, tarring your working system and then extracting to repartitioned disk will do the job. after that, only reinstalling grub and editing fstab is required.

I even managed to convert Windows 7 from BIOS to UEFI mode without reinstall back in the day.

yes, if EFI partition is present, windozes 7 and newer can convert its boot mode to UEFI too.
