Hi all. Yup, I'm new here. I'm primarily a guitarist and bassist; I recently decided to start investigating using Linux for live performances, specifically Sooperlooper. For now I've got Ubuntu running on a Dell Inspiron 1501. I'm struggling to get everything running smoothly, but I will prevail.
I'm looking forward to plying you all with questions--both technical and creative--as I delve into this uncharted realm.

Re: Greetings
I'm from the US. I live about an hour outside New York City.
I've installed Freewheeling, but haven't tried it yet because I'm having difficulty getting things up and running. Actually, I'll probably post my conceptual setup in the System Tuning and Configuration for feedback. I've ordered all the equipment, but it hasn't all arrived yet, so I don't know if I'm on the right track.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
