Hello all.
I'm Scott Lavender, aka Drunky on UbuntuForums, and wanted to introduce myself here. Had a spot of trouble trying to register but I'm here now.
Been playing guitar for almost twenty years, also play bass and sing. I can pound out simple tunes on piano and keep a beat on drums but cannot claim any modicum of competence really on the later two.
Only started using Linux less than two years ago but I'm really enjoying it. Using Ubuntu server on one computer (added Gnome desktop to it for the kids to play games) and Ubuntu Studio on my main computer.
I've recording in the past using cassette 4-track recorders and eventually a mini-disc digitical 8-track recorder. And I look forward to continuing this with Linux.
I've converted my garage and started buying components for my studio so expect some music from me in the near future.
