Why my posts need to be approved before they appear on the forum.
The subject says all. I haven't encountered any forum where user posts need to be approved.

They don't anymore. The first 5 or so posts for each new user need to be manually approved because we have had spam problems in the past, and this was the only thing that really helped in the end.deepakdeshp wrote:The subject says all. If you or anyone else knows of effective spam protection, you are welcome to let us know and we will test it if technically possible. We are also not happy about the manual unlock.
Everything we've done so far, and we've tried many different techniques in the past, spam bots (and trolls) have been able to circumvent.
