Hi from Piobair

Post by piobair »

Piobair translates from Celtic as "person who plays bagpipes."
I just discovered this forum while looking for something else.
To date, I have been using Finale.
I am an accomplished programmer in C, but signals processing (e.g. writing a patch for Audacity) is foreign to me.

Welcome! If you are an accomplished C programmer, there are a lot of projects you can contribute to, even if you don't know about DSP :D

What kind of bagpipes are you playing? There are over 120 different kinds of bagpipes in Europe.

Have you tried lilypond or Musescore for your scores? As far as I remember, lilypond even has a bagpipe notation.
