Hello! I am interested in making music in linux. I am kind of familiar with linux, I have an arch machine but I got help for installation and I feel I don't really manage it to well(I am, however, constantly learning).
I've been using fl stuido + wine, but now I want to try the combo kxstudio + bitwig, because the latency of the former bothers me when I use a midi keyboard. I would like to use an audio oriented distribution(like kxstudio) on an external hard drive, but that's a topic for another thread.
I'm into more than one genre, but for the beginning I want to try to make something like boom bap, the old hip hop music which heavily relies on samples.
I am new here
