Hello from Italy!
I'm new to the forum but not new to the world of Linux audio. SInce 2014 I rely on a Linux Mint 17.3.
I'm mostly a Pure Data user, but I'm starting making "noise" in Ardour

Re: Hi from Italy..
Welcome to the forum, Alberto!
What part of Italy are you in? I'm in Busto Arsizio (VA). There are other Italians on this board, too. (I discovered linux thanks to some good Italian friends.)

Re: Hi from Italy..
Ciao Brian,
I live in the Bergamo area, not so far from Busto.
I'm glad to see several italian people, I hope that this community will possibly grow.
I switched completely to Linux 3-4 years ago, in the past I bounced between Linux and Windows mostly because I was linked to some VSTs I bought and I was using Reaper a lot. Now I'm fully enjoying Carla, Ardour, the Linux ports of u-he plugins plus the wonderful stuff you can have natively in Linux like Zyn, Helm etc..
In case someone is interested here is some of my soundcloud stuff:

Re: Hi from Italy..
Nice Soundcloud work! Linux has indeed grown in recent years, and it's exciting to be a part of it. I started about 5 years ago and I still feel like a newbie at times.AlbertoZ wrote:Ciao Brian,
