I'm Linux old timer, but quite new to music SW on Linux. I've been doing music a lot, back in the days.. using huuge loads of HW like analog synths. Then I just sold them all and had a long long break from music. Now I'm getting back, but I want to keep it smooth and simple (yeah, right...)
I'm a professional programmer, so naturally I'm quite interested in music programming, and Lisp in particular. I'm really fascinated by the idea of creating music with programming, doing real-time improvisation etc. in the old skoop REPL style. So I've been toying around mostly with CLM and extempore.
Glad I found this forum!

Nice to see you here.
There's plenty of scope here for getting your hands dirty, with music, programming and both!
