Hi from the UK

Post by Count »

Hi there,

I've been using KDE variants of Linux for about ten years since I ported from Windows. I've recently got into music, playing electric guitar. I've just started added keyboards/synth to that, and have started using KXStudio.

To that end I'm also thinking of saving up for the new KDE Slimbook to use exclusively with KXStudio for studio and live performance.

Glad to be aboard!

Hey there!

I am in the UK too (although not British). Welcome to the forums!

I did not know about the slimbook and it looks pretty hot. I got a similar laptop from Entroware more than a year ago. The model was Entroware Apollo and looks like it is out of stock now. I am overall happy with the purchase, you can read the reviews I made on my blog (in signature). Probably worth to consider for you if you want a Linux box as they are based in Liverpool.
