Hi,
Thanks for the great forum, I've been lurking in the background reading posts and tried a bootable version of kxs, I liked iy and have just installed it on a partition. I have an old laptop running mint as a workshop computer but I'm hoping this distro on an i5 4gb ram laptop will provide me with enough juice for audio production.
Looking forward to setting everything up and to start creating. Any tips massively welcome. Is there a thread that runs through the basics of what to do to after install to set everything up correctly and methodically so as to get creating as quickly as possible?
Cheers

Hi! Your i5 4gb should be enough. What kind of music do you want to make? Do you want to record live audio, or arrange virtual instruments?
