Hello, just found this site and thought I'd join.
I'm no musician though, I'm afraid. More a sound-artist type, and part-time coder. Have recently begun experimenting making 'field recordings', and (actually yes, in fields) and experimenting with sampling recordings of myself hitting various objects, recorder playing back out through speakers , speakers facing down drain pipes and onto cymbals saved from the dustbin, feedback etc.
Plenty of random type sounds on my website, feel free to rip them off.
Cheers, excellent site

Isn't a musician not a sound artist? ;)
Interesting stuff and I saw you already put some music on the site... I'll listen to it. I think you could have some interesting inputs on this forum :)

Maybe a musician is a sound artist, but is a sound artist a musician?
Cheers
