Hello Guys

My name is Paulo, I live in Porto Alegre, far from Brazilian forests in extreme south of the country, I'm guitar player and vocalist in a thrash metal band called Decimator, two albuns launched, and a lot of shows in Brazil and Uruguay. I spend me free times ( almost all hours of my week) in my rat lab job.

The thing that make my time great is tour and compose, I began with a little Roland sound card in windows inside Sonar, as a Linux addicted I 'made' some packages under Slackware 1337, and there , my Ardour till today, working robust...

Now I'm tasting the Ubuntu Studio, and surely our third album pre-production will be in that...

But I'm newby, I just record my insights, our bands new songs fast as hell, now I need to gain a more true knowledge and for that Im here...

We can collaborate, I think. I'm a metalhead, too. Maybe I can help you to do production fully on Linux if you don't plan to give your tracks for reamping to some good equipped studio. I have some experience in software reamping in Linux. If you PM me in order to connect via other service, I can show you short examples of my reamping works. They aren't on the web since they're still unfinished, but they sound really angry and clean. Anyway, good luck to you!
