i think this forum-software needs an update. that might solve the spaming-problem.
got to know another software recently (as user) wich seams very nice: http://www.simplemachines.org/

man, this bot posted 10.000 spams today, hope there wont arrive problems and we lost all our "work"....

this may be a silly question to ask, but is this version of phpBB running Akismet? That plugin seems to keep about 95% of spammers off my blog, although occasionally, I get the odd few "discount medicine" type comments I am supposed to review...
