I uploaded some samples to freesound.org over a day ago, and it still says they are awaiting moderation. Has anybody else used freesound to share samples? How long does moderation usually take? Is it possibly more delayed this time because I'm a new user?

Yeah, it takes longer the first time, maybe about a week. Subsequent submissions are pretty much instantaneous.
