I don't understand why I *have to* use Chrome in order to access the site. Why the limitation?

Yeah, this is definitely spammy. There have been 3 other posts about this site, all by user galgreshler, who has never posted about any other topic, and then there's this one, the one and only post from user nirgreshler. At these low levels, it doesn't seem automated, but *AHEM* we've all heard about jamly.co now, so you can stop posting about it.
There's an interesting web infrastructure that's building up around Chrome, including running native compiled code in a browser sandbox. I wrote a small Chrome webapp that uses the Chrome-embedded version of Csound here: http://fcahoon.github.io/seq/.
Working with this Chrome infrastructure does fall a bit short of free software ideals, but this Jamly site is at a whole 'nother level of falling short of any standard of decency: this is an actual term from their EULA:
