I haven't found a lily plugin for dokuwiki, but there is an ABC plugin. ABC would be easy for newbs to pick up and would provide a pretty cool way to notate musical examples on the web. What do you think?

Ask for such a plugin on the lilypond user mailinglist...
I would like it more when people started to learn lilypond...

edit: why not use the wikipage of Mike Blackstock?

There is a section for adding good links to sound samples in the wiki.

I also added space to post the best soundfiles per instrument. This section is for your best/ good sounds you know, not all the sounds you know...

It might be tricky installing a lilypond plugin on a public hosting service, which I believe is what linuxmusicians runs on. The reason is that lilypond has to be installed and run in a 'chroot jail', and getting that going is something I think a public server administrator would frown on - it's not the sort of thing that's usually offered as a service. No harm in asking though.

Cheers,
Mike

Mikey! Good to hear something of you :)
I think we should use your website for sharing lilypond files...
