I just had a similar (the same?) spambot on my wife's homepage, got it killed by adding a captcha function to the comment box.
Perhaps we need a captcha on the board too? I know it's annoying, but better than being spammed to death.

Options are being looked into right now to crack down on the spam issues for the board. I think we just need to block the entire city of Moscow myself since that is where the majority of the IPs are for the spam that we have been getting on the board lately. But that just wouldn't be fair to people who are living there. I am only kidding of course. I really like Russia, especially Splean, Vitas, and Ligalise. They're great.

but I also don't understand why members who are obvious spammers are not removed to prevent...
Look at their names and webadresses, don't allow commercial (except personal music) websites
edit: I know this must be frustrating times for the Mods... come on, get those suckers! Good luck and thanks for your work
