beat slicing

Hi all,

i want a good program for beat/drum slicing.
Renoise is fantastic, but is closed source, Freecycle is nice, any other?

Take a look at these two articles. Good info on loop manipulation and beat slicing using various apps on Linux.

just another beat slicer out there - I never used one myself so i can't tell wether it might meet your needs.
