I'd like to use Qtractor as master for the Midi tempo and to start/stop my drumcomputer.
I've got my drumcomputer connected to my PC via a Midi cable and if I use Qtractor as the "device" that delivers the pattern (read: midi notes) then it all works.
But I want to use the pattern that I've programmed in the drumcomputer itself and just start the drumcomputer w/ Qtractor in the right tempo (i.e. 100 bpm) determined by Qtractor. When I press "Play" in Qtractor then the drumcomputer goes into "play mode" expecting midi notes from Qtractor. The drumcomputer has the play button lit up but no pattern is playing. I don't want that.
How can I simply start and stop the drumcomputer w/ Qtractor?

Maybe MIDI Clock is missing. Did you enable MMC, SPP and MIDI Clock in View -> Options -> MIDI?

Thanks man! I didn't have 'Midi Clock' activated in said settings window. Works like a charm now.bluebell wrote:Maybe MIDI Clock is missing. Did you enable MMC, SPP and MIDI Clock in View -> Options -> MIDI?
