Looking for something to use with Tidalcycles.
I know about TouchOSC, but that only works if you have an ipad or something similar, and I don't really want to be tethered to my phone for MIDI-like input.
There is this application, but I'm having trouble compiling it:
http://www.niallmoody.com/apps/mouse-to-osc
I run ./configure and it ends:
checking how to hardcode library paths into programs... immediate
appending configuration tag "F77" to libtool
checking for X... no
configure: error: The path for the X11 files not found!
Make sure you have X and it's headers and libraries(the -devel packages in Linux) installed.
How do I install these Xorg devel dependencies? or why isn't it finding the path for them?
I've tried:
yum groupinstall "X Software Development"
yum install libX11-devel
But I'm getting the same error.
Any other OSC software for Linux I could try?

Good question, I didn't know tidalcycles until now (will check it out), but here are some suggestions you might try:
Can't help you with the compilation errors, sorry.
Good question, I didn't know tidalcycles until now (will check it out), but here are some suggestions you might try:
- Open Stage Control: https://osc.ammd.net
- There is also TouchOSC for Android, if this is an option: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... a&hl=en_US
- some stuff (e.g. ossia) by filtering github topics: https://github.com/topics/osc
Can't help you with the compilation errors, sorry.
