Qtractor is maximized without window borders

I've launched Qtractor and it is maximized on my whole desktop and there are no window borders so I can only alt+tab from it. Help?

I may be wrong, but it sounds like your display settings are set incorrectly for your monitor.
You could try configuring for a slightly smaller size.

What is it? I have no title bar or anything, all panels of my DE are hidden when Qtractor is active.

first we need to know witch desktop / window manager you use, then, we could check ( duck duck go) witch keyboard shortcut you need to exit the fullscreen view. Qtractor itself didn't provide fullscreen, so. it must be your window manager.
Other then that, you could edit the config file of qtractor.

F11 does nothing on qtractor in Cinnamon desktop. ymmv
Actually, some study of qtractor's config will reveal much of why it
works the way it does, and will allow the user to discover some controls
and customizations, for a more optimized experience.

MATE. I have deleted Qtractor config and the problem still persists.

Haven't Mate installed and don't know which keyboard shortcuts marco use, however,
as a workaround, you could install wmctrl (apt-get install wmctrl)

then run :

qtractor & sleep 5 &&  wmctrl -r 'qtractor' -b remove,fullscreen

MATE, Marco I guess, 1024x768. Here's the screenshot. I was fine before, but I haven't used Qtractor for about half a year.

nothing changed on qtractor upstrem to that regard; probably you changed WMs meanwhile... missing window decorations, title and borders are responsibility of the WM, not of the application.

maybe the WM is too dumb and presents the main window as full-screen without window decorations or at least they are not visible on initial window sizes that matches or are greater than the current screen size (1024x748)...

following this suspicion, you can try editing the configure file ~/.conf/rncbc.org/Qtractor.conf, and onto the "[Geometry]" section, delete the line that starts as "qractorMainForm\geometry=..." and change "qtractorMainForm\width" and "qtractorMainForm\height" entries into something smaller than your screen size (eg. width=800, height=600), save and run qtractor (it must not be running while you edit the .conf file).

There were no width and height parameters, I have added them. Didn't fix it.

Have you tried wmctrl?

To make that clear, running the command once should fix the issue permanent, not just temporary.

Okay, I just tried it in Mate under marco, it works.
